Y/Project

Glenn Martens showed his SS19 womenswear collection for Y/Project at Paris Fashion Week yesterday.

The brand, famed for its high-fashion take on UGG boots, architectural denim, and Rihanna co-signs, delivered a series of striped dresses, cozy sweats (with juxtaposing cuts at the chest, basically a gray sweater you could wear to a fancy event), loose ’90s-style denim jeans, floral print shirts, cricket sweaters (and cricket skirts!), feather bras, and cape-like oxford shirts for SS19.

One of the key visuals for this collection was the spiralized fabric, which collected in graceful bunches across tops, sleeves, and dresses, adding a touch of old-school OTT glamour to Martens' contemporary collection, which was further highlighted by the egregiously oversized accessories, like the giant ring necklaces.

Check out the full collection in the gallery above, and for more from Paris Fashion Week, here's what went down at Off-White's SS19 womenswear show.
