Vince Staples Returns With Bouncy New Single "BagBak"

After surprise announcing it a mere two days ago, Vince Staples has just dropped a new single titled "BagBak." It is, frankly, a revelation, and a stark departure from his previous work. Listen to it above.

Where his previous efforts, particularly last year's excellent Prima Donna EP, were marked by glitchy, skittering beats, "BagBak" practically glides out of your headphones. It feels elastic, or perhaps even liquid, keeping in line with his soon-to-start "The Life Aquatic" Tour with frequent collaborator Kilo Kish.
