Brand: Maison Kitsuné and ‘TOILETPAPER’ Magazine
Season: Spring 2017
Key Pieces: The key pieces for this capsule are the denim overwear pieces, both exhibiting rich, vibrant graphic collages over each piece’s rear yoke.
Editor’s Notes: Having built an impressively long list of collaborations following its inception, including names such as Cali Thornhill DeWitt, Parisian designer Maison Kitsuné has teamed up with provocative arthouse publication, TOILETPAPER, on a new capsule collection. Consisting of a range of T-shirts, a hooded sweatshirt, denim overwear, and a selection of cotton canvas tote bags, the latest capsule features loud and eclectic graphic insertions, inspired by TOILETPAPER’s ostentatious aesthetic.
Exclusively available at Kitsuné’s Daikanyama Store in Tokyo, with an in-store event and club night scheduled to mark the launch, the bold collection is expected to be priced between ¥12,000 and ¥138,000 YEN, which is roughly between $100 and $1,240 USD.
Branching away from such Japanese exclusives, check out Maison Kitsuné’s nod to Americana fashion in its recently unveiled Fall/Winter collection.
