Paramount Pictures bid in the new year with grizzly new trailer for A Quiet Place Part II. The sequel to 2018’s A Quiet Placethe horror movie picks up shortly after the original, bringing back the heroic Abbott family in a world overrun by aliens.

In the trailer we see Emily Blunt reprise her role as Evelyn Abbott, with Millicent Simonds as daughter Regan and Noah Jupe as son Marcus. The family is running for their lives when they cross paths with other survivors. Joining the cast are Cillian Murphy (Peaky Blinders) and Djimon Hounsou (Guardians of the Galaxy), and it's unclear whether they are to be trusted. "You don't know, do you?" Murphy's character says. "The people that are left are not the kind of people worth saving."

A Quiet Place emerged as an unexpected hit in 2018, pulling $340 million worldwide, making it instant franchise material. John Krasinski returns once again to direct, despite his character being killed off in the prequel.

A Quiet Place Part II is set to release on March 20, 2020.
