It's no secret that women's sneaker releases have lagged shamefully behind for decades. But an ever-growing audience of female sneaker fans is making the call for drops that truly match up louder and louder. Brands are finally starting to hear it, too, with releases coming in hot that aren't the standard fashionized versions of general releases. Enter — Jordan Brand — who recently unveiled some of its women's lineup for 2021. The Air Jordan 1 "Silver Toe" is part of that lineup, and it's a strong one.

Reminiscent of the coveted "Gold Toe" Air Jordan 1 that dropped back in 2018, the "Silver Toe" switches out the elemental colors at the toe, heel, and collar sections of the shoe. Here, Jordan Brand makes use of a "crinkle" silver material to add some shine to your rotation.

The Air Jordan 1 remains one of the most popular sneaker silhouettes of all time, and all the features that make it iconic remain in place on the "Silver Toe", from the Air Jordan wings emblem at the collar to the Nike Air branding on the tongue. Metallic shades are nothing new to Jordan sneakers, having dressed plenty of them since 1985 in some form, and this one looks set to join a family of shining icons.

StockX market data shows that the Air Jordan 1 "Silver Toe" is currently attracting an average sale price of $237 on the platform. Its 52-week high reached $453.
