A.P.C. has unveiled its men's FW17 collection and it once again nails the discreet sophistication and abstract minimalism for which the brand is best known.
It's classic A.P.C. in as much as it's neither quite the same, nor quite different. Contrary to recent trends, the materials hark from the past, rather than hi-tech from the future. Traditional wintery patterns have been transformed and distorted to the point of abstraction, while shades of ochre, beige and caramel evoke memories of a distant, simpler past.
The Parisian label is also launching a special capsule with HIVER 87 to celebrate the latter's 30th anniversary. The capsule includes special edits of archive pieces from HIVER 87's past, as well as newly designed items that incorporate archive logos and imagery.
