Hot Wheels

BAPESTAs and Shark hoodies are cool and all, but can you say you've ever whipped around in a BAPE 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL? Probably not – so why not live out your fantasies with BAPE and Hot Wheels collaborative collection?

One of the beauties of streetwear is that there's a streetwear remix for pretty much anything and everything in existence. You need only look to Supreme for proof of concept. An insanely luxurious bed? Arcade machine? Skittles? Hatchet? If you can dream it, it exists.

Supreme and Palace aren't the only streetwear titans that are armed with the type of arsenal that can fill a man cave fifty times over – A Bathing Ape certainly has more than its fair share.

In its nearly three-decade history, the brand has built a reputation for being unapologetically bold – an energy that's seen it collide and collaborate with other cultural leaders in style, including Union, Heron Preston, Lacoste, and plenty more. Now, it's spinning into action alongside Hot Wheels.

Hot Wheels has a knack for bringing dreams to life, and this BAPE wrapped 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL is certainly a fantasy realized.

A little too small to make a meaningful change to your existing luxury car garage, the camouflaged collectible is detail-heavy, featuring opening doors, an authentic interior, and plenty of graphic details from the extensive BAPE archive.

Releasing alongside the collectible is a five-piece apparel and accessory capsule, complete with three vintage-style graphic print tees and two on-trend trucker caps.

Hot Wheels x BAPE zooms into action on May 27 via Mattel Creations.
