Brand: Calvin Klein Jeans
Key Pieces: A lot has to be said for the collection’s run of perfectly tailored, side-stripe pants. Often left at the wayside to be baggy and somewhat unappealing in their cuts, these have shaken up the now common trend piece to be considerably more elegant than any of its tracksuit predecessors.
The selection of bright red layers must also not go without a mention, as they all boldly frame an otherwise subdued color palette.
Editor’s Notes: Under the watchful eye of fashion scene stalwart, Luella Bartley, the latest Calvin Klein Jeans collection is an ode to refined Western wear, with an infectious cowboy-like appeal.
Although many will note how well the aesthetics align with that of the work of Raf Simons, the collection maintains a certain independence, especially after conquering the style of Western — which often comes off as overplayed or in some cases even tacky.
No official release date or pricing list has surfaced as of yet, but the collection can be expected to hit retail soon, as many around the world have already begun clearing their shelves of “old” FW17 stock.
