Designer: Chromat

Location: New York

Season: Spring/Summer 2018

Key Pieces: Two-piece neoprene bikinis, denim skirts and tops, ’90s sportswear-inspired crop tops.

Editor’s Notes: Chromat designer Becca McCharen-Tran has long been a staunch advocate of inclusion in the fashion industry. So it’s no surprise that her latest collection features women of all shapes, sizes, and skin tones. Her last collection was more politically charged, but Spring/Summer 2018 is a more self-reflective affair, with the clothing embodying a message of self-care and body positivity.

The sportswear inspirations are meant to inspire self-confidence, while the swimwear is complemented by street-ready pieces in denim with a slight ’90s bent. Ideal for transitioning from the boardwalk to the sidewalk next summer.

Now check out the latest offerings from KITH at their SS18 runway show.
