Editor’s Notes: Titled, “The World Wanderer,” CLOSED's Winter 2019 collection is eclectic and expressive, reflecting the jumbled constellation of people and ideas that make up contemporary life.

The collection boasts well-balanced, rich basics that compose a patch-worked look, perfect for trans-seasonal layering. CLOSED describes the collection's energy as vibrant and positive, articulated by its choice of silhouettes and fabrics.

The wider range of corduroy, velvet and teddy structures this season is a welcome expansion for the German label. Additionally, the roomily-cut pants find new partners in denim and chino styles, with “flat-front” straight shapes available in various widths.

“The World Wanderer” is a collection that essentially unifies a quality selection of basics and yet together, the pieces complement and contrast each other to compose expressive and unexpected ensembles that speak to the “constellation” theme.
