C.P. Company

C.P. Company's 50th-anniversary celebrations continue as the Italian sportswear masters tap adidas Spezial for a two-piece collaboration.

Half a century of sportswear innovation is no small feat, so it's no surprise that the brand has gone above and beyond to celebrate the occasion. Things were kicked into motion with the ongoing Cinquanta exhibition, exploring key product milestones and moments.

The cross-cultural connection of C.P. Company and football is well documented, having played a pivotal role in bringing the brand and its staple experimentative approach to apparel into the mainstream. Through the casual subculture in the '70s and modern-day, particularly in the north of England, a special connection developed between adidas and C.P.

In celebration of this ever-evolving relationship, the brands have once again teamed up for an exclusive capsule of clobber that would make the sportswear OGs proud.

First up is the 50 Fili Italian camouflage jacket, seen sported by England and Manchester United footballer Luke Shaw in campaign imagery and on the Cinquanta exhibition mural. The jacket serves as a premium reinterpretation of the iconic adidas Haslingden jacket and features design cues pulled from the extensive C.P. archive, such as the jacket's iconic 50 Fili insulation and co-branded signature lens at the wrist.

Completing the arsenal is a classic terrace wear footwear silhouette – the adidas Italia. The low-profile sneaker comes in an effortless pairing of white leather and grey suede, contrasted with green Three Stripes, red detailing, and gold foil branding.

The full launch is scheduled for October 14 via C.P. Company flagship stores and END.
