Earlier in March, Funimation hinted at a forthcoming Dragon Ball film and now the leading trailer for Dragon Ball Super: Broly has made its debut at Sandiego Comic Con 2018. Premiered as part of the studio's North America tour, the visuals show a powered up Broly ready to take on fellow super Saiyans.

In the English dub above, the likes of Frieza, Goku, and Vegeta take their chances against the hulky figure, only to be beaten down repeatedly. Much to their alarm, Broly's strength levels up after each battle he partakes in, leaving viewers wondering whether he will become friend or foe.

Dragon Ball Super: Broly will rollout in Japanese theaters this December with a North American release scheduled for January 2019.
