Drake appears to shout out Nike on Travis Scott's "Sicko Mode" further casting doubt on rumors that the star is moving from Jordan Brand to adidas.

On the Astroworld track, Drake raps, “Checks over Stripes, that’s what I like (Yeah).” Rumors that Drake is abandoning the Swoosh have however been circulating for months now. Back in February, ESPN contributor and Nice Kicks‘ creative director Nick DePaula said Drake was gearing up to switch sides, after which Drake was spotted wearing adidas and a sneaker leak showed the OVO logo missing from upcoming Jordans.

But things reached a peak back in May when Pusha-T dropped his diss track “The Story of Adidon,” which is apparently named after Drake's upcoming adidas line.

More recently, Drake unveiled a new OVO x Nike jersey, so his "Sicko Mode" lyrics could be another way of dispelling the rumors. Genius dug deep into "Sicko Mode," explaining the Drake line and more. Watch it below.
