Editor’s Notes: Givenchy unveiled a surprise collaboration with Onitsuka Tiger during today's SS20 show at Pitti Uomo in Florence. Following the event, we now receive an official look at the project, which marks the first time Givenchy has worked alongside an outside sneaker manufacturer on a global level. Conversely, Onitsuka Tiger has never previously collaborated with a luxury fashion house.

For the project Givenchy chose to work on Onitsuka Tiger's classic Mexico 66 silhouette, offering the sneaker in black and white colorways. The black iteration welcomes signature Givenchy details in red and white, while the all-white pair highlights the signature Onitsuka Tiger stripe and Givenchy lettering. Both models include a co-branded heel tab.

The Givenchy x Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 will release tomorrow, June 13, in limited numbers at Givenchy and Onitsuka Tiger stores worldwide, the first-ever Line pop-up in Japan, and online. Available for men and women, the sneaker retails for approximately $510.
