Salomon is certainly no stranger to sneaker collaborations – over the last few years, it's kept co-creation a semi-frequent part of its release strategy, keeping its arsenal fresh without diluting it to the degree of other brands operating within the sneaker space.

What keeps these collaborative releases exciting is the meaningfulness of each; they're carefully considered, the partners chosen make sense, and they aren't just reserved for the brand's biggest flagship silhouettes.

There are favorites, of course – and wander's takes on sneakers such as the XT-6 are highly desired (with several versions touching down each season), The Broken Arm's XT-4 is arguably one of the best colorways of the silhouette of all time, and we're still eagerly waiting for the arrival of MM6 Maison Margiela's offering.

As Salomon is such a high performer in the outdoor world, delivering gear that goes above and beyond to ensure excellence in the world's toughest conditions, it's no wonder it typically looks to brands with the same outlook and desire to push boundaries.

That's what has made GR10K a great pick for collaborations and why it's returning to the fold once again. A brand that operates with the desire to reinterpret technologies and deliver unparalleled resistance, GR10K utilizes Salomon's hard-hitting footwear silhouettes as canvases to elevate its step.

Following the release of the Fell Raiser Mid last year, the duo has linked up the remix the Quest Low – decking the silhouette out with a black upper, brown sole, toe cap, and lining, with slick white lacing.

Release details are currently a little sketchy. Recently, the silhouette touched down, with several fans placing orders; some were delivered, while most were canceled. It looks like someone may have jumped the gun a little. Although, you can still find a couple of sizes via LYST.

For now, we'll keep our eyes peeled for when an official release date is set.
