Yesterday, Netflix released its latest binge-worthy show, I Am Not Okay With This. The coming-of-age drama tells the story of Sydney (Sophia Lillis), “a boring 17-year-old white girl” grappling with sexually-charged friendships and the trauma of her father's death. Sydney is on the verge of exploding — and when she does, it's catastrophically supernatural.

Based on Charles Forsman’s graphic novel and co-created by writer Christy Hall and End of the F***ing World producer Jonathan Entwistle, the series tackles teenage angst as the latest in Netflix's oeuvre of youth-focused shows.
