Not sure what to get your missus for her birthday? How about a dead relative? You can take a page out of Kanye West's book and go full Black Mirror and resurrect your wife's late father as a hologram.

Kim Kardashian has been humbly celebrating her 40th on an undisclosed private island with her family and friends amid a pandemic. Kanye added an extra dose of normalcy with this very thoughtful gift. Kim shared the surprising moment on social media, posting a video of the life-like projection of Robert Kardashian and we're struggling to work out whether it's either sweet, or extremely creepy.

Wearing a tan suit and speaking from a black and sparkly void, Robert Kardashian showers Kim with love and affection. “Kim, you’re 40 and all grown up. You look beautiful just like when you were a little girl.” Eventually, hologram Robert Kardashian sings and dances to Barry Mann’s “Who Put The Bomp.”

Then things got even weirder when the hologram started talking about Kanye and his mission to become the leader of the free world. “You married the most, most, most, most, most genius man in the whole world, Kanye West.” Yep, five whole "mosts."

Even though Kanye took some liberties with the script, Kim was apparently still touched by his bizarre birthday present. “For my birthday, Kanye got me the most thoughtful gift of a lifetime. A special surprise from heaven. A hologram of my dad,” she wrote on. “It is so lifelike! We watched it over and over, filled with emotion.

“I can’t even describe what this meant to me and my sisters, my brother, my mom, and closest friends to experience together,” she continued. “Thank you so much Kanye for this memory that will last a lifetime.”

Since Kanye's bringing back people from beyond, we're guessing it's only a matter of time until we see Jesus pull up at a Sunday Service? Until then, watch the chilling reincarnation below.
