Kim Kardashian West was recently spotted in Los Angeles with the much-discussed Dior x Sorayama saddle bag seen in the Dior Men’s Pre-Fall collection that showed in Tokyo last year.
The futuristic bag, which will set you back around $29,300, was produced in extremely limited qualities, making it a highly ambitious choice for when out running errands. The metallic bag is an updated version of the classic Dior saddlebag (one of last year’s most searched for products), which has been imbued with Sorayama’s distinctive robotic aesthetic.
The bag probably belongs in a museum, although Kardashian West has been known to switch up her everyday style with futuristic references from time to time, such as when she paired a Lamborghini with her neon green hair. Whether Kardashian West actually bought the bag or it was loaned to her is unknown.
Speaking to Highsnobiety after the aforementioned FW19 show, Dior Men’s artistic director Kim Jones told us, “It’s a couture house, so you should celebrate those special pieces that someone [who’s] a billionaire or millionaire can go and buy, and may put on their wall.”
Kardashian West has foregone the option of hanging it on her wall (perhaps it clashes with the Kardashian-West house’s minimalist aesthetic), instead opting to pair it with a purple paisley T-shirt and a pair of white YEEZY Boost 700 V2s.
