When it comes to being extra, few come close to Kanye West and Kim Kardashian — especially when it comes to buying mad expensive presents for one another (like that acid-colored SUV Kim was gifted earlier this summer).

Considering their wedding cost a reported $2.8 million, the fact the couple are happy to lavish extravagant gifts on each other is no surprise. Yet while that was one of the most expensive moments of their romance, it's merely the icing on a very tall, multi-tiered cake built out of the wild presents Kim and Kanye have bought each other over the years.

From a Burger King franchise to an entire tropical island, here's a roundup of just some of the most opulent gifts the couple have bought for each other since they started dating back in 2012.

A fat cheque & a percentage of YEEZY

Who gave whom: Kanye gave Kim Cost: $1 million+

When Kardashian was offered — and turned down — $1 million to promote a label that she said knocks off her husband's YEEZY designs, West gave her quite the thank you note. Inside a Mother's Day package, West not only hid a cheque that matched the other brand's offer, he also gave Kim a contract laying out her percentage as a new part-owner of YEEZY itself.

Hand-painted Hermès Birkin bag

Who gave whom: Kanye gave Kim Cost: at least $40,000

In 2013, West commissioned American artist George Condo to customize a Hermès Birkin bag for Kardashian as a Christmas gift. While it's not confirmed how much he actually paid for the work, The Hollywood Reporter states that — at the time — the Birkin bag alone cost around $40,000, so it's safe to assume this piece of hand-painted arm candy cost a fair bit more than that.

Stock-filled stockings

Who gave whom: Kanye gave Kim Cost: at least $300,000

Kanye put the stock into stocking last Christmas when he gifted Kim a casual few hundred thousand dollars worth of stock in a number of major companies. On receiving her lucrative investments, Kim took to Instagram Stories to tell followers, “Okay, so for one of my Christmas presents from Kanye, he gives me this little box with a Disney Mickey toy, Apple headphones, Netflix, Amazon gift cards, and Adidas socks,” before revealing the stocks in each of the five companies. At the time, the 920 Disney shares were worth around $100,000 and the 995 adidas shares were worth approximately $170,000.

Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4

Who gave whom: Kim gave Kanye

Cost: $750,000

"Okay, Lamborghini Mercy (swerve), your chick, she so thirsty (swerve)" — Kanye's 35th birthday gift from Kim was probably inspired by the opening bars of "Mercy," which referenced the Lamborghini Murciélago. The track came out shortly before West's birthday in 2012, for which Kardashian dropped three-quarters of a million dollars on a super-sexy Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 as a gift.

Panthère de Cartier Bracelet No. 1

Who gave whom: Kanye gave Kim Cost: $35,000

When Kim turned 32 back in 2012, Kanye stumped up $35,000 for a panther-shaped Cartier bracelet. Posting a photo of her fierce new bling on Instagram, Kardashian simply captioned the picture "Rawr." What else was there to say?

Panthère de Cartier Bracelet No. 2 (plus extras)

Who gave whom: Kanye gave Kim Cost: $68,000-$73,000 and an estimated $65,000

A girl clearly needs more than one Cartier panther bracelet. For Valentine's Day 2013, Kim received yet another dazzling feline beauty boasting emerald eyes, onyx nose, and a white gold trim. Estimates placed its value at between $68,000 and $73,000. Yowza.

There was more where that came from, too. A few weeks earlier, Kanye splashed the cash on the collection of sweet bling below, reportedly costing $65,000 in total.

Engagement rings

Who gave whom: Kanye gave Kim Cost: estimated $2 million and $4.5 million

Of course, when Kanye popped the question in 2013, he didn't bust out any old ring. No, he flashed a 15-carat, cushion-cut Lorraine Schwartz number that's estimated to be worth a heart-fluttering $2 million. The ring was actually smaller than the $2 million 20.5-carat Schwartz engagement ring given to Kim by former hubby Kris Humphries in 2012 (which was later sold at auction for $620,000), but Kanye went all-out in 2016 with a $4.5 million 20-carat "second engagement" ring. Unfortunately, that ring was stolen a few weeks later when Kardashian was robbed in terrifying fashion in Paris.

1,000 red roses

Who gave whom: Kanye gave Kim Cost: estimated $40,000

Nothing says I love you like a bunch of red roses. But rather than sending the traditional dozen, Kanye supersized his order and got Kim 1,000. InStyle did the sums and arrived at the rosy sum of $40,000.

Mercedes-Benz G550 SUV

Who gave whom: Kanye gave Kim Cost: at least $227,300

What's the point of being ridiculously wealthy if you can't be a little ridiculous from time to time — like buying your wife a giant neon-green SUV to match her "frozen yellow" hairdo, for example. The couple had previously rented the car while in Miami for 2 Chainz’ wedding, and Kim loved it so much that Kanye just had to buy her one.

Kim's sister Kylie Jenner even has the same in orange, natch.

An entire island

Who gave whom: Kim gave Kanye Cost: at least $440,000

When Kanye turned 40 in 2017, Kim rented out the entire Baker's Bay Golf and Ocean Club on the island Great Guana Cay in the Bahamas. The island resort is invite-only and comprises 600 acres, with a collection of luxury cabins with private beaches, boutiques, a spa, golf course, and a great many boats. Take a peek at the resort here.

While the exact price is unknown, Refinery 29 estimated Kim paid about $264,200 for travel and $176,000 for their mansion alone.

10 Burger Kings

Who gave whom: Kanye gave Kim Cost: unknown

When you've run out of Cartier panthers to buy, what's next? Patties and fries, it would seem, with Kanye lovingly purchasing 10 Burger Kings around Europe for Kim as a wedding gift back in 2014. By the way, we're not talking 10 Whopper meals here, we're talking 10 actual franchises.

Giant wall of flowers

Who gave whom: Kanye gave Kim Cost: unknown

For Mother's Day in 2014, Kanye got constructive and surprised Kim with a wall made of hydrangeas, roses, and peonies — because why TF not?

What's the most extra gift you've bought for someone? Tell your tale in the comments.

Now, Kanye has apologized for slavery comments in new interview.
