Summer is in its dying weeks and, frankly, we’re not finished with it yet. We’ve been racking our brains for ways to extend that intangible summer feeling and, obviously, we defaulted to clothing. The solution has been under our noses this whole time: Marrakshi Life. Launched in 2013, the label takes inspiration from traditional Moroccan styles and the final product is a style-forward ode to summer dressing.

Melding contemporary style with traditional silhouettes, every Marrakshi Life collection covers the full spectrum of summer possibilities. Soft cotton trousers and shirts stand alongside kaftans and jumpsuits which might take some more time to style, but pay off in the end.

A few months back, we were inspired by NBA player Serge Ibaka who found his way to his Easter game wearing a Marrakshi Life Kaftan. Using the garment as a bold foundation, he dressed it up with luxury accessories like a Prada bucket hat and Thom Browne pouch to prove its versatility.

Marrakshi Life has played a role in our summer wardrobes, but we’re expecting it to move into an even more central role as we begin the transition to fall, holding on for dear life to the last remnants of the summer months.
