What the Internet Is Saying: As you'd expect, this silhouette has already got people talking. Matthew Williams continues to prove his innate ability to create designs that turn heads. Many have noted the similarities the knit structure shares with Kanye West's recently unveiled KNIT RNR, assuming the designers have been comparing notes. Williams responded to one such comment on his Instagram, saying: "with a sole tho...big difference. Show me another knit shoe without a sole."

What We’re Saying: Summer is over, which means it's knit season. It looks like the world of sneakers is ready to tap in and keep our feet just as warm and cozy as the rest of our bodies.

Kanye caused quite a storm on social media when the upcoming YEEZY KNIT RNR was unveiled, with plenty of fans questioning the unorthodox design.

ALYX head-honcho Matthew Williams has kept the conversation going by showcasing an upcoming Givenchy sneaker for SS22. Designed with a Kevlar mix and TPU thread on the sole unit, the full-360 degree knit shoe is built for durability. What additional colorways have been designed are yet to be seen, but you can expect the full reveal at Givenchy's Spring/Summer 2022 show this weekend.
