Nostalgic gamers, rejoice: Sony and Other Ocean Interactive are teaming up to bring back cult PlayStation game MediEvil for the PlayStation 4. Check out the shiny new trailer up top.

The remake keeps the level design and core game elements, but the graphics have been totally overhauled for the current console generation — even protagonist Sir Daniel Fortesque has had a makeover.

For those of you who didn't play MediEvil back when it was released on the OG PlayStation back in 1998, the game's narrative follows resurrected knight Sir Dan and his mission to save the realm from evil sorcerer Zarok.

The new MediEvil will be released at some point in 2019.
