Montblanc

Montblanc is bringing its unique craftsmanship to a new line of accessories made in collaboration with Maison Kitsuné. The capsule collection unites Montblanc’s keen eye with Kitsuné’s laid-back yet sophisticated attitude for a result that's fun, fresh, and fashion-forward. It's a new direction for the luxury brand, but one we'll definitely be following.

Though the two brands may seem odd bedfellows at first glance, Montblanc executive vice president of marketing, Vincent Montalescot, sums up the partnership’s particular alchemy: “What makes this partnership so dynamic and exciting is bringing together two Maisons with very different origins, stories, and philosophies, yet complementary mindsets.” Together, the brands share a commitment to the art de vivre, the art of living. Their collection caters to the modern city dweller who can't — and won't— sacrifice style for substance.

The line consists of 12 pieces with Kitsune’s fox logo as a recurring design element. Classic shapes — a backpack, a crossbody bag, a tote bag, a wallet, among others — are reimagined in Saffiano printed leather in blue with bright red accents. The collection of accessories is built to seamlessly melt into your daily wardrobe while continuing to deliver a stylish punch.

As an added element, they’ve included a special pair of over-ear headphones that marry Montblanc’s minimal but instantly recognizable logo with the playful fox pattern across the band. To coincide with the release of the headphones, and the line in general, the brands tapped MATVEЇ, a DJ, producer, and Kitsuné Musique artist to create an exclusive track. You can listen via Spotify on a playlist of specially curated summer tunes. To celebrate the launch, Peggy Gou and MATVEЇ will be performing a DJ set on June 24 at 8 PM at the Shangri-La rooftop in Paris.

The Montblanc x Maison Kitsuné collection will launch on June 24, and can be found here.
