Fans were treated to a Nicki Minaj freestyle session yesterday as her Beats 1 show, Queen Radio, made a triumphant, though somewhat delayed return to the airwaves.

Though Minaj was an hour late to go to air, fans were not disappointed as the “Hard White” rapper dropped new material at the top of the show with “Barbie Drip,” a freestyle over Lil Baby & Gunna’s “Drip Too Hard.”

She followed up with a pointed freestyle that referenced Meek Mill and Drake’s “Going Bad.”

Listeners have been poring over the latest lyrics which reference her success and Meek Mill’s failures, as well as more vague criticisms of rappers who imitate her while their “ghostwriter dissin’ me.”

Minaj also hinted at more freestyles like these, and a fifth album with the verse, “The label hit me said they want the fifth thing-thing, I got in the studio, I did the fifth thing-thing/And then they say, ‘You know, it’s time to drop your single’/I said ‘Noooo. You know radio already tried to blackball a b**h.’”
