Key Features: This particular Air Jordan 1 features a white leather upper with black overlays on the heel, ankle, laces, Swoosh, and toe box. A similar colorway dropped previously in 2014, however this year’s version features synthetic hair on the black parts of the upper instead of the usual smooth leather. An elevated wings logo and metal aglets add a premium touch.

Editor’s Notes: The Nike Air Jordan 1 “Twist” is set to see a US release this week on May 10. The black and white colorway previously dropped in Europe, selling out soon after.
The name “Twist” comes from the fact that, while the colorway takes inspiration from one of the OG Air Jordan 1s released in 1985, the material has been given a time-appropriate twist for women. The black leather overlays have are constructed of synthetic hair instead of the usual smooth leather.
