Owen Wilson is joining the Marvel universe. The actor has just been cast in the upcoming Disney+ series Loki, Variety reports.

While the exact details of Wilson’s role are being kept under wraps, we have learned that he will be joining Tom Hiddleston who will reprise his role as the titular character in the Thor spin-off show. The show will be executive produced by the president of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Kevin Feige.

Although the series is in the very early stages of production and nothing has been confirmed yet, sources indicate that Rick and Morty producer Michael Waldron will write the show, with director Kate Herron (Sex Education) attached to direct all the episodes and executive produce. The show will reportedly feature Loki, the master of magic, popping up at different times in human history and influencing major events.

Stay tuned for more updates on Loki as they arrive.
