Paul Smith inform us of their latest collaboration with Barbour. The Land & Sea collection offers 12 styles for guys and 8 for women, described as "a considered edit of high quality casual classics." New takes on standard waxed jackets, the Beaufort and Seafarer featuring sailing numbers reverse stitched onto panels, both models lined with breton fabric. Alongside two heavyweight down jackets, the line up features basic layers for underneath. The 'Stevedores shirt', a chambray oxford, inspired by boat loaders in the North East of England as well as the corduroy 'Colliery Pant', based on miners breeches. Plenty of interesting touches influenced by original archive pieces, Paul Smith comments "I have always been a fan of Barbour and this has been a great opportunity to collaborate on a collection that combines the British heritage and identities of both companies.”
