How Berlin's Best Dressed Styled PUMA x Ottolinger
Some facts are ubiquitous, and this is one of them: PUMA x Ottolinger girls ride motorbikes really fast. The duo launched their new collection at the Highsnobiety store last week, throwing a party for an exclusive guest list kitted out in the collab’s latest futuristic drop. Shiny bags, shiny boots, and maximalist Mostro boots dominated the industrial space in central Berlin, complete with drinks, snacks, bespoke set design, and DJ sets from Babynymph and Rebe. For a collection which wouldn’t look out of place in a sci-fi film, it was a stellar debut.
Since the start of the partnership between PUMA and Ottolinger last year, it’s become one of the industry’s most iconic collaborations. PUMA’s high-octane sportiness and Ottolinger’s designer edge combine to produce pieces which are spacey, slick, and always turbo-charged. You can see our full run down of the 2024 drop here, but the question remains: how to style it? Well, time to learn from the best. At the launch of the collection on Berlin’s Unter den Linden last week, we managed to snap our favorite fits — and we’ve rounded them up below. Read on to see how the city’s best dressed styled their PUMA x Ottolinger.
Cold Shoulder
Coming in bright green and silver, and with mini versions in black, silver, and pink, the PUMA x Ottolinger bag is a versatile beast. Sling this on with any outfit, and you’re instantly making a statement. (Not that the fit above needed elevating, mind.) To maximize the pop, dress dark.
Vintage
Everyone loves a contradiction. You wouldn't expect a burgundy fur jacket to pair well with PUMA x Ottolinger’s futuristic body-‘suit’, but then again, you probably haven’t met Ivana Ladislava. Red lip, red nails, embellished specs — chef’s kiss.
Full Cybercore
If you can pull it off, it would be rude not to. The full cyber leggings and top set from this collection make a serious statement (and a bridge piercing and leather jacket certainly help).
In the Bag
Guests at the PUMA x Ottolinger launch in Berlin had exclusive access to the presale of the collection. Some wore their haul straight away; for others, the Highsnobiety paper bag made the perfect, envy-inspiring accessory. Paired with a vintage PUMA top, ideally.
The Louder, the Better
Music at the event was as hyperactive as the collection. Fully kitted out in the pieces themselves and partying behind a specially-designed, moto-inspired booth, track selection from DJs Babynymph and Rebe sent a fitting message: however you wear your PUMA x Ottolinger, turn it up.
