Editor’s Notes: To celebrate 25 years of Raekwon’s solo debut album, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx, and 30 years of the N.9000, Packer, Diadora, and the Wu-Tang rapper have teamed up on the collaborative “Cuban Linx” N.9000.

This isn’t the first time that the trio has teamed up, having worked on the “Purple Tape” N.9000 in 2015. The above “Cuban Linx” colorway was actually a 1-of-1 sample created alongside the eventual standalone “Purple Tape” N.9000 five years ago. It was intended to be released as well, however, its release was ultimately scratched and Raekwon kept the only pair in existence as a personal pair.

Now, five years on, Packer and Diadora are finally dropping the album cover-inspired colorway to the wider public. This release features slight updates to the materials on the upper, which now includes ostrich leather and pony hair accents, to underline the luxuriousness personified by Raekwon.

The pair will be exclusively available at Packer today, December 23, via the link above.
