Brazil’s Rider Sandals has partnered up with the connoisseur’s choice of online radio station that is NTS for a slick and simple sandal that's perfect for summer.

Using the R-Next Sandal’s bold, structured silhouette as a base, NTS add their signature logo across the sandals’ straps, while NTS adds its distinctive square logo for a chunky rubber pull tab. Colorways come simple: only in black.

To celebrate the release, NTS and Rider are hosting the Outsider’s Summer Tour, kicking off in Berlin on June 29. Taking place across four cities in the US and Europe, local NTS-supported talent will play an exclusive gig at one of the city’s best stores. Those at the party will get the chance to win further gig tickets from NTS or get the first opportunity to cop the Rider x NTS Sandal and capsule collection.

Kicking off in Berlin on June 29, Swedish-born, Berlin-based music producer and Instagram cool kid Yung Sherman (of Drain Gang fame), will play at the Superconscious store.

"We have the utmost respect for those who genuinely drive culture forwards," explained Christiano Coelho, Global Brand Strategist for Rider Sandals.. “That is why we are so happy to partner with NTS.”

Rider Sandals have been a street staple in their native Brazil since 1986, with strong roots in supporting the country's unique music scene. One of the earliest brands to pioneer the slide, Rider Sandals recently relaunched its cornerstone, the R86 slide, with fresh colorways and collaborations. This heritage, combined with the brand's relative underground reputation in Europe, means they're about ready to pop.

The Rider x NTS Sandal drops June 29 at select streetwear and fashion boutiques in the US and Europe.

The Rider x NTS Outsider’s Summer Tour Berlin, Superconscious — June 29, 2019 Lisbon, Latte — July 7, 2019 London, Goodhood—July 12, 2019 Los Angeles, location and date to be confirmed (check back for updates).
