Of course, the vague theme is getting us even more excited to see how Rihanna’s outfit interprets it. After wearing a meme-inspiring Guo Pei dress for 2016’s “China: Through the Looking Glass” exhibition and a fresh-off-the-runway COMME des GARÇONS’s piece for last year’s Rei Kawakubo-dedicated gala, we know she’s one of the few stars who actually keep the theme in mind.

The Met Gala will take place May 7, 2018, so we have six long months of outfit anticipation ahead of us.
