At the British Fashion Awards in London last night, Rihanna took home the coveted Urban Luxe prize, an accolade that was last gifted to Off-White™'s Virgil Abloh for his contribution to sportswear. And while the moment is huge for the burgeoning Fenty empire, it was clearly huge personal event for Rihanna herself.

Evidentally, the 31-year-old was not expecting that her five-month-old label would receive one of the industry's highest accolades. Nor did she seemingly expect to be awarded the prize by Janet Jackson. Watch her priceless reaction in the video below.

After being introduced to the stage by Tyler, the Creator, Jackson delivered the award along with a number of amazing complements. "You’re loved for your style, your boldness and for your strength as a woman," she told Rihanna. "You’re respected as a successful artist, fashion designer, activist, entrepreneur and for being the first black woman to start a brand with LVMH, congratulations to Rihanna for Fenty."

Rihanna accepted the award with her best friend and business partner, Jahleel Weaver, before addressing the room. She used her acceptance speech to thank the Arnault family and LVMH. “Thank you so much for believing in me as a young black woman and giving me the opportunity to do what I love the most.”
