As a society, a commitment to shifting consumer behavior and production within the fashion and sneaker industry has become paramount. With the global climate crisis upon us and the very real consequences of it looming, there is an expectation for brands to do more – even if that means doing less.
For sneaker enthusiasts, in particular, so-called "greenwashing" has made responsible buying difficult to navigate. In and amongst the noise, there are brands, individuals, consumers, and initiatives actively working towards finding viable solutions to ensure we can enjoy product while causing minimal impact to the environment.

Equally as important is the production process. Each Roscomar sneaker displays the CO2e date on the tongue, allowing buyers to opt for lower impact purchases – or use it as a scale to measure against other consumer goods.
Balancing responsible design with modern aesthetics, the low-top silhouettes adopt a classic sneaker shape complete with mixed-fabrication panels. With each sneaker designed in an entirely tonal and monochrome palette, Roscomar is an apt addition to the silent streetwear wardrobe.
