Editor’s Notes: Returning to the breakfast theme of 2016's Courageous "Bacon and Eggs," running shoe maker Saucony has put together an homage to the most important meal of the day with this avocado toast-themed Shadow 6000, dubbing it the “Saucamole.” The shoe even features an avocado-shaped logo on the tongue.

Saucony has a history of making food-inspired kicks, and this is possibly the brand’s best yet — it's certainly the boldest.

Previously, Saucony teamed up with END. Clothing and Extra Butter to deliver both burger- and astronaut ice cream-themed sneakers. Elsewhere, in 2015, there was an "Irish Coffee" pack of Shadow 6000s and "Pumpkin Spice" sneakers in 2016. More recently, this lobster-inspired Grid 8500 made its way on to shelves.

If you're hungry for Saucony's latest slice of goodness, the "Saucamole" Shadow 6000 is available now at History of New York for $140.
