Location: Berlin, Germany

Season: SS19

Key Looks: Sportswear, loud colorways, and utility vibes were everywhere at 2018’s Seek exhibition in Berlin, with the strongest looks incorporating brands like OFF-WHITE, Carhartt, Nike, and adidas.

Editor’s Notes: Berlin has championed laid-back, fashion-forward aesthetics for years, and with sportswear increasingly finding footing within the luxury market, those attending 2018’s Seek exhibition in the German capital hammered that intention home. Alongside the usual streetwear suspects (aka the brands mentioned above), a few opted to don football jerseys — like Clarance Seedorf’s AC Milan shirt — paying homage to key players.

Bright colors were flexed by many, too. Bright orange was spotted in many forms, from adidas Yung 1’s and the accents on Virgil Abloh x Nike’s Jordan 1 UNC, to pleated skirts to utility vests. Elsewhere, yellow was incorporated via trousers, crew necks, and belts.
