For Salone del Mobile 2016, Italian outerwear specialists Stone Island partnered with Agnelli Milano Bici by Luca Agnelli and English designer John Alfredo Harris for a multi-medium exhibition titled "CRAFTWORKS."

The presentation opens with an array of hand-finished Stone Island garments that have been treated with various non-traditional techniques, including oven-drying and corrosive washing. The result is meant to mimic the uniforms of World War II soldiers, who rubbed soil on their uniforms to create an earthy camouflage.

Harris's installation changes the pace with a selection of furniture crafted from reclaimed and eco-friendly timber. The finished products - furniture, homewares and abstract objects - are intended to leave clues as to the wood's origins, and in this way tell a story of the natural shapes and forms.

Finally, Agnelli Milano Bici by Luca Agnelli features a range of elegant electric bicycles using vintage components from the 1950s. The antique frames are repurposed to create functional, 1-of-1 pieces of art.
