Stormzy and Harry Styles are supposed to be in the midst of a ruthless battle for the Christmas number one album. But last night Styles delighted and genuinely shocked fans at a surprise gig in London, when he brought out his supposed rival to perform his smash hit “Vossi Bop.”

In fact, there were nothing but kind words between the two musicians. Stomzy said that Styles was “not just a pop star, but a brilliant artist.” He also said that the One Direction alum was “the fuckin’ legend,” before going on the record to say that “this guy has made a fucking brilliant album.”

The only negativity was directed at British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson. During their performance of  “Vossi Bop” Styles mouthed the words “I could never die, I’m Chuck Norris (Chuck Norris)/ Fuck the government and fuck Boris,” as he held the mic out to the crowd. Watch it below.

Styles also performed his take on Lizzo‘s “Juice.”  He originally performed the cover on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge this week.
