[UPDATE October 3, 2017 6:30am EST] Supreme officially confirmed the shop will open on Thursday, October 5 at 152 Grand St. Brooklyn, NY 11249. The space itself looks to be a 1:1 copy of Supreme's Los Angeles shops, down to the bowl in the back and the cashier's stand in front it.

Opening hours: 11am - 7pm Monday - Saturday 12pm - 6pm Sunday

Telephone: (718) 599 2700

We've also just learned that one of New York's first pro skaters, Jefferson Pang, will be the manager of Supreme's Brooklyn location. He took to Instagram just minutes ago to thanks Supreme for the opportunity:

The post from Jefferson Pang follows a clip Supreme shared yesterday on its Instagram showing a 1997 edit featuring Pang skating Brooklyn:

The original story appears below.

Supreme's fabled Brooklyn store is close to completion, and the address is 152 Grand Street. The rumor mill started churning heavily in May of this year, when WWD broke a story about the brand eyeing a 3,000-square-foot space in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Possibly because of the pre-opening hype, the store's address already seems to be a valid location on Google Maps.

We sent a photographer to see what was up at the location, and the shop appears to be in the final stages of opening. The brick facade on the outside has some graffiti on it, as do the buildings surrounding the shop. Like Supreme's Paris store on Rue Barbette, the Brooklyn outpost is similarly tucked away in a less-trafficked area of Williamsburg. The neighborhood has experienced a great deal of gentrification the last couple of decades, but this particular area of Grand Street still exhibits the industrial aesthetic and a bit of the grittiness Williamsburg used to be known for.

While neighborhood mainstays like punk bar The Trash Bar have closed down (it's now an Overthrow Boxing gym), the area around the shop still caters more to locals than the bridge-and-tunnel crowd. Neighbors include the reopened flagship store of Fool's Gold records across the street, and a short walk away is the fashion boutique IDOL and vintage Japanese fashion store About Glamour, which specializes in older wares from brands like COMME des GARÇONS, UNDERCOVER and Hysteric Glamour—all brands that should now be on the radar of neophyte Supreme fans.

There's no word yet on when the store will open, but if it's ready for business this year, eager shoppers can expect to see pieces from the Fall 2017 collection trickle in—and quite possibly an exclusive box logo tee, which has been the case for the last two Supreme store openings in London and Paris.

Now learn about Supreme's latest collaborator, Japanese fashion label Hysteric Glamour.
