Seven unexploded U.S. bombs from World War II have just been found near the spot in which Tesla plans to build its first European factory, Autoblog reports.

News broke last night after the bombs, which weigh 110 pounds each, were found on a plot of land outside Tesla's new Berlin, Germany location.

The unexploded bombs will be defused by experts in the near future. While all of the above might sound alarming, discovering WWII bombs isn't so uncommon, especially in Germany. Earlier this week, for example, an 500kg (1,100lb) bomb was found in Cologne.

Tesla will pay €45 million for the new German spot, which will span a whopping 740 acres. It's not known whether the recent discovery will delay building plans. Updates to follow.
