Vans is paying tribute to A Tribe Called Quest’s contributions to music and pop culture with a selection of sneakers that memorialize the group's iconic album artwork and vibrant song lyrics. The collection (put on in partnership with Sony’s The Thread Shop) features a number of Vans staples, including the Slip-On, Old Skool, Authentic, Sk8-Hi, and Era, in addition to the new UltraRange, livened up by bold colors and prints.

The Slip-On is a nod to the iconic hip-hop collective's 2016 album We Got It From Here… Thank You 4 Your Service, while the Era welcomes all-over print of album covers spanning from 1990 to 2016. The Old Skool is showcased in a black and white look, referencing The Anthology artwork, and the Sk8-Hi adorns lyrics from the Tribe's celebrated "Bonita Applebum" track. To round out the assortment, the Era honors the life of the late Phife Dawg, as Vans' newest silhouette, the UltraRange, notes black leather uppers with a contrasting red Sidestripe.

Ahead of the A Tribe Called Quest x Vans launch on April 6, Vans is hosting a special two-day pop-up event at House of Vans Brooklyn (March 30 and March 31), complete with early access to shop the collection and live musical guests.
