Nigo‘s famed vintage collection comes into play once again, following that golden Coca-Cola x Human Made moment, Bape-free Nigo goes digging once again, this time for the folks at Lee. A denim brand with an exceptional history, founded in 1889 by Henry David Lee, the collection looks back at the ’20s and ’30s when overalls, coveralls and dungaree jeans were gaining popularity. Three models will be on offer, the 131 and 101 buckle-back cowboy jean and the Whizit overall to keep you covered from shoulder to ankle. Plenty of original detail including leather HD Lee Mercantile waist patches, Hookless Talon zippers, donut buttons and hair on hide labels. Of course, Nigo adds his own contemporary touches with his name emblazoned on back pockets and metal buttons. Fair play. A promising repro line that will hopefully find its way out of Japan, see it all in the gallery via the guys at Honeyee.
