To coincide with the upcoming launch of Supreme’s collaboration with KIDS, the New York streetwear giant sat down with the landmark film’s director, Larry Clark, to learn more about how the film was made. Anyone that’s seen the movie will recall the controversial storyline, which sees a group of skaters engage in a number of illicit activities during the height of the AIDS epidemic. As 2015 marks the 20th anniversary of the film, Clark takes the time to discuss the role of Supreme in making the film, as well as the film’s one improvisational scene, which involves preteens and marijuana.

Watch the video here and look for the collaboration to drop on May 21.
