Never a brand to use the same old boring techniques and materials, Stone Island has released a new capsule collection that uses corrosive paste to make each piece completely unique.

The “Hand Corrosion” collection sees a number of outerwear garments dyed with special recipes and then faded by hand using corrosive pastes. The all-important arm badge is attached during this process and thus boasts the same distressed markings.

This artisan technique – which has been applied to jackets, knits, sweatshirts and bottoms – makes each piece unrepeatable, they’re essentially “1-of-1s.” Head over to the Stone Island website to find out more. Stay tuned for release dates.
