Sneakers
From the ground up

After winning Nike’s “RevolutionAir” design competition for last March’s Nike Air Max Day, Sean Wotherspoon has started to reveal his finished Air Max design.

With shades of Patta’s corduroy Air Max 1s released in 2009, Wotherspoon went all out when it came to the materials used on his hybrid model, which features a 97 upper sitting on an Air Max 1 sole.

The upper is decked out in corduroy with a denim heel pull-tab, subtle “VA to LA” branding, personalised tongue decals, and a custom velour insole completing what looks to be an ultra-luxe collaborative effort.

On foot! ✌?

The sneakers will release at his stores in LA and Virginia first in a limited drop, before releasing globally on Air Max Day in March 2018.
