adidas home of classics 001 adidas Originals Stan Smith
adidas Originals

Classic white leather sneakers transcend cultures, style tribes, and generations. Few know this better than adidas Originals, whose “Home of Classics” pack pays tribute to this rotation staple with 10 essential silhouettes.

The collection celebrates 50 years of experience in craftsmanship by going back to basics, offering up minimal reinterpretations of the sports brand’s most influential designs.

Among the Home of Classics line-up is adidas’ most coveted silhouettes, the Stan SmithContinental 80 and Superstar 80s. The first is known as the world’s most distinct tennis shoe and instantly recognized by its sleek shape and signature preforated stripes.

Some 13 years later came the Continental 80 – introduced to this new pack in a tonal colorway with white-on-white stripes for its most paired-down version yet – then the Superstar 80s, with a new iteration that’s modernized with a textured construction.

Alongside these signature styles is the uber-retro ‘90s tennis silhouette, Torsion Comp, a crisp S.C Premiere and a tweaked-for-the-streets A.R. Trainer, plus adaptations of the Nizza Hi RFRivalry Low, and Supercourt RX.

Though the Home of Classics franchise will be celebrated through the summer of ’19 via a program of events across the US, all 10 silhouettes can now be copped via adidas.com, with prices starting at $80. See the whole collection below.
