The adidas Ultra Boost takes the best of adidas' Boost technology and applies it to a versatile sneaker that's techy, but just on the right side. The latest in the line following the Brand with the Three Stripes' relatively low-key Pure Boost and its Energy Boost sneaker, the Ultra Boost was launched in May 2015 as a more fashion-oriented performance sneaker, with Stella McCartney, Kris Van Assche and kolor’s Junichi Abe all roped in to help its launch.

And there the story might have ended were it not for Kanye West wearing an all-white pair at the Billboard Music Awards, which catapulted the sneaker into the minds of pretty much everyone who cares about their creps. A favorite of none other than our very own Founder and Publisher, David Fischer, a black iteration of the Ultra Boost is available now at Finish Line.
