It's certainly no secret that the University of Oregon gets all the best PEs (Player Exclusives). From Air Max models to Air Jordan favorites, the college that is so near and dear to Nike has stayed laced with the most eye-catching colorways for years. Don't expect the preferential treatment to stop anytime soon, of course, as the ties between the brand and the U of O will always be there — Nike's founding fathers are alumni, after all.

For the latest edition of "Oregon PE Watch," we've come across a new Air Jordan 1 PE that undoubtedly garners attention. Shared by the official Oregon Track and Field Instagram account — the team has had one hell of a year by the way — we see the Air Jordan 1 Mid done up in a signature Ducks colorway. "New digs, new kicks," the Instagram post reads, referencing Oregon's insane new track and field stadium. The caption then goes on to shout out Oregon Track and Field alumnus, Tinker Hatfield, who just so happened to design the shoe.

The captivating PE boasts a dark-colored upper, which finds two shades of grey coming together, while pops of neon green serve to liven up the pair via the trim on the collar and tongue, as well as the outsole itself. What really makes the sneaker, though, is the Oregon-specific branding incorporated with the Jumpman logo on the tongue and an additional Oregon Track emblem on the heel.

While some Nike and Jordan Brand Oregon colorways have released, it's unlikely this pair will be available to the public, as they seem to be reserved for Oregon Track and Field athletes only. Regardless, where do these rank among the pantheon of Oregon Ducks PEs? We'd definitely give them a good spot.
