Editor’s Notes: After months of speculation, in May A$AP Rocky finally unveiled his first signature sneaker in collaboration with Under Armour. The rapper was previously seen rocking the shoe on Instagram and, as speculated, the model features various design cues inspired heavily by the Osiris D3.

Appearing on The Daily Show in August, the rapper announced that the sneakers would be dropping “next month,” and it appears he's as good as his word.

A new GQ feature about the rapper has revealed that a first run of the sneakers will be available at a skate rave-themed pop-up in Harlem today, September 14. Only 250 pairs of each colorway are reported to be available.

In the article Rocky explains that, although the sneaker has skate influences, “it's targeted to be a rave sneaker more than anything, because I don't really like lounges and clubs,” before adding, “If you want to go mosh, if you want to slamdance, if you want to jump on people's backs and shit, this is the perfect shoe for that.”

The sneaker features a predominantly black upper with what at first appeared to be a white lace cage, but recent leaks point to reflective detailing instead. A$AP affiliate Chace Infinite previously posted a video on Instagram that showed the sneaker's reflective detailing in action. Check it out below.

He also posted a clean profile shot of the shoe, which gave us our best look yet.

A$AP Mob member A$AP Lou had previously teased yet another look for the silhouette via an Instagram story. Instagram account @sneakernews grabbed a screenshot of it, which can be seen below.

On May 25, A$AP Ant took to Instagram to show off a pair of the sneakers first hand, including the packaging. Catch that video below.

The sneaker, which we now know is called the SRLo, was unveiled during Rocky’s live performance art piece, Lab Rat. This was the first time fans had been able to get a confirmed look at the silhouette. For a closer look at the shoe during the performance, watch the video (starting at 1:16:14) below.

The A$AP frontman previously stepped out in the same model, posing on the streets of New York with Jared Leto.

What do you think of the sneaker? Is it on-trend or is Rocky biting the Osiris too much? Let us know in the comments.
