Surprisingly, Balenciaga's latest drop isn't wild. It's actually quite...normal and fuzzy.

Fresh off a viral Paris Fashion Week presentation, Balenciaga shifts focus back to its Fall/Winter 2022 rollout and drops some new season-approved handbags.

Amongst this latest drop is Balenciaga's Everyday XS North South tote bags, swaddled in faux shearling versus its signature leather look.

As the name suggests, Balenciaga's Everyday line includes, well, everyday handbags. Essentially, the brand's Everyday bags are more approachable than Balenciaga's trendy Le Cagole or Crush silhouettes.

Indeed, that explains why the house's new fleece totes aren't as out-there as the leather Lays bags.

The label's Everyday accessories — totes, camera bags, and backpacks to name a few items — usually boast a minimalist black leather look stamped with a perfectly-sized Balenciaga logo (not too big, not too small, but just enough to flex the brand's name).

Balenciaga's furry Everyday totes — available in beige and black at Balenciaga's physical stores — preserves the Everyday bags' customary details like the recognizable Balenciaga branding, leather handles, and removable straps (just with a bit of added fluff, of course).

Balenciaga isn't the only brand pushing P — plush, that is — this fall. Off-White, Diesel, and Loewe are just a few of many labels that embraced the fuzz for its AW22 runway collections.

Not to mention, it's hard ignoring the fluffy revolution when A$AP Rocky makes a case for the trend in footwear while Nike brings its Big Swoosh energy to the craze.

This isn't the first time Balenciaga has said "fluff it" to one of its handbags either, as the house's Hourglass and Papier bags also host furry iterations (Kim Kardashian can attest).

Balenciaga's shearling Everyday tote flexes a hefty price tag like its wilder releases (¥ 163,900, or $1102 USD to be exact). But, it's surely refreshing to see a regular drop hailing from the land where trash bags and Crocs evolve into luxury bags.
