BEDWIN & THE HEARTBREAKERS
1 / 9

BEDWIN & THE HEARTBREAKERS looks to Dickies most iconic product lines to deliver a masterclass in utilitarian workwear.

Whenever you see the Japanese-based label BEDWIN & THE HEARTBREAKERS' name aligned with that of one of VF Corp's plethora of brands, you can expect an elevated take on classic apparel and sneaker lines.

Most recently, it was Vault by Vans that took center stage for reinterpretation, seeing the Authentic and Old Skool get decked out in unique, 1-of-1 applications of USA-made bandanas. No one shoe within the collection was the same – and it's this detail-focused design approach that makes BEDWIN's collaborations so enticing.

Gone are the rich red and blue canvas and suede fabrications of the Vans collaboration, in their place, a blank slate of everyday wearables in black, olive, and tan.

Spring/Summer 2022 isn't the first time BEDWIN has tapped the workwear experts to craft a concise collection of staple pieces, but it is the first time the duo has gone so heavy on utilitarian detailing.

This next stage in their relationship puts focus on four key product lines, reigning Dickies' rich history.

First up is a jacket that seemingly takes the OG Eisenhower as its base, updated through the addition of details pulled from vintage jackets across different eras. The resulting piece has a distinctly military feel, heavy on zips and pockets.

Work pants once again serve as a foundation of the pair's team-ups, with an updated silhouette that has more room in the leg than some of the closer fitting styles that we've become accustomed to. Finishing off the capsule is a loose-fitting set of overalls and a minimalist work shirt that has been executed with finesse for daily wear.

The full BEDWIN & THE HEARTBREAKERS x Dickies collection will release via a pop-up shop at DAYZ MIYASHITA PARK from February 26 to March 3.
